Ford Bronco Come Back Different

Most vehicles sell the going; this sells the returning, because the person who comes back isn't the person who left. "Different" isn't novelty or self-improvement. It's the residue of effort, the thing that happens at a distance from comfort and shows in the body before it shows in any story. The first film makes that case across a group. The winter companion takes it somewhere harsher, where the world keeps no record, and the change is real anyway, because it belongs solely to the person who earned it. In both, the vehicle is never the hero of the adventure, always the fixed point that made the distance survivable. A capability argument made entirely through consequence.
